School Life at Fairlight Glen 

At Fairlight Glen, our school day begins at 09:00, pupils are greeted by staff who strive to create a positive and supportive start to the day, helping each student feel valued and ready to learn.

Morning Routine

The day starts with Group Time, where students have the chance to share what they've been up to — whether it's something fun they did over the weekend or an experience from the previous evening. This time helps build social skills and strong relationships among peers and staff.

Following Group Time, pupils head to their first lesson of the day.

Break Time

At 10:45am, students take a break, which lasts until 11:00am. This is a chance to relax, enjoy a snack, and recharge for the rest of the morning.

After break, students return to their classrooms and continue with their lessons until lunchtime.

Lunch Time

Lunch is at 12:30pm. Students enjoy their packed lunches together with staff and peers at the main dining table, encouraging social interaction and a sense of community. 

After eating, pupils have the opportunity to spend time in the school garden, socialising with friends and enjoying

 outdoor activities like table tennis.

Lunch ends at 13:00pm, and students then engage in their afternoon activities.

End of Day

The school day finishes at 15:00, Monday to Friday.
